Varsity has added a weekend tournament at Saginaw Arthur Hill Saturday and Sunday June 7-8 against some of the top teams in the state.

We will be having a summer basketball meeting on Monday May 12 at 7:30 pm. Meeting is for all kids planning on playing Freshman, JV, or Varsity basketball this summer. Meeting is for players only

HEALTHY BALLER: Blair Odonovan from healthy Baller will be coming Friday afternoon and staying until Sunday morning. The cost of Blair coming is $1,100 ( which is a bargain) and he will be spending a lot of time with all three teams in our program. Things Blair will focus on this weekend will be warming up correctly, pre game routine, and ” refresher boots” ( something new the NBA guys are using before and after games) Cost per player for Varsity players will be $30 each. Freshman and JV players will need to pay $20 each. Please pay cash or make checks out to ” healthy Baller”
MASS: Varsity team mass will be at St.Pius this Sunday Feb 9th after our community service project at the soup kitchen. This is mandatory
SOUP KITCHEN: Sunday Feb 9th from 7:30-9:30 downtown Flint. This is mandatory as well
The Varsity scrimmage has been moved to Northwood University on Saturday. Below is our schedule, be at the college by 9:30 am

It was a great weekend for the Powers Catholic basketball program. Every player and coach got better and we also have our weight room looking good. If you have not received an email from me on the nutrition program that Blair has prepared for us, please contact me and I will send it. I truly believe that the nutrition and sleep information that was prepared for our staff and players is another huge step in moving our program from good to great!
Thanks to anyone that helped this weekend. We are now only 15 days away from tip off!

Blair Odonovan from Healthy Baller will be at our school on Friday evening from 3-8 and Saturday from 10-6. Blair has a resume like I’ve never seen when it comes to strength, nutrition and sleep ( yes sleep)
our entire program is encouraged to spend as much time as possible with Blair this weekend. Cost is $30 per player. Please make checks out to ” Healthy Baller” or pay cash.
Blair will be working out athletes and also teaching proper nutrition and sleep.
Blair has worked for the Baltimore Ravens, Washington Capitals, trained NBA players, and also China and Australia Olympic teams. Im pretty sure we are getting him for a steal at $30 each.
All athletes are encouraged to attend.

November 23rd from 10:00-5:00 our entire program will be in the weight room. We shouldn’t need the full time but there are things that need moved and organized before we get our season started. Varsity practice is from 1-3 with JV and Freshman following from 3-5.
December 2nd is meet the team
December 10th first game
There will be no conditioning today. We will condition tomorrow ( Friday) after school until 4:30.
